TRIBUTE PAID TO
ETTUMANOOR SOMADASAN
: Noted poet Ettumanoor Somadasan died of cardiac arrest at Changanacherry on 21st November,2011, morning, his family sources said.
He was 75. He is survived by his wife, Thulasibhai and two daughters, S Kavitha and Dr S Prathibha.
The funeral will be held at Changanacherry on 22nd November.
Kerala Sahidya Akademi Award, Vamadevan Award, Krishnageethi Award, Muloor Kavita Award, Ulloor Memorial Award and P Kunchiraman Nair Memorial Award were honoured on him. Sakhi, Neeyende Karalam, Athijeevanam were the novels penned by him. He had also written many poems and songs for films.
