 WILL BE THE CANDIDATE FOR THE PIRAVAM

Anoop Jacob, son of former minister T.M. Jacob will be the candidate for the Piravom byelection. The election was necessitated by the death of Jacob.The party has decided to field the son of Jacob, Kerala Congress (Jacob) chairman Johny Nelloor said Thursday,3^rd,November,2011.Johny also said that Anoop was the ideal candidate from the constitute Ending all speculations of internal trouble for Kerala Congress (Jacob) group, party chairman Johny Nelloor Thursday said that he will not be contesting from the Piravom seat, which became vacant after the death of party supremo and Civil Supplies Minister T.M. Jacob.
He also clarified that he will not stake claim to become in the vacancy created by Jacob's death.
He also said that the party will not take any decision without consulting the UDF leadership.
