MALAPPURAM HOSPITAL
Areekode: On the auspicious day of 11.11.11 a hospital in Kodungaloor was in the centre of attention as 11 babies were born in the hospital on that day. The speciality of births was that all were normal deliveries. The hospital is famous for its women care section and many deliveries take place here daily and many ceaseraians too. But on that day, 11 kids were born through normal deliveries. Out of the 11, 6 are boys and 5 girls. The first delivery was in the wee hours of 2.43 am. Faseela from Thurakkal gave birth to a baby girl. The last was at 1.22 noon. No other deliveries took place on that day. Dr Meera, Dr Geetha Sreenivasan and Dr Shalima headed the deliveries.
