AYURVEDA NATIONAL SEMINAR

Ayurveda experts from various parts of the country would attend a national seminar on ''Ayurveda in 21st Century'' to be hosted by healthcare major Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal, (AVSK) here on October 16.Talking to newspersons, Geeneral Manager K K Warrier and Chief Technical Services Dr T S Murali said Director General, Ayurveda Research Council, Government of India, Dr Ramesh Babu Devalla, Dr P M Varrier of AVSK, Prof K Satyamurthi of Manipal, Dr K Haridasan of Bangalore, Dr P Ram Manohar of Coimbatore Ayurvedic Trust, among others, would attend the seminar.


Scientific Advisor of Government of India Dr R Chidambaram would inaugurate the event to be presided over by Dr Ashok B Vaidya, Research Director, Kasturba Health Society, Mumbai.Ayurveda Biology Task Force Chairman Dr M S Valiyathan would deliver 'Navati' oration at the event organised as part of Dr P K Warrier Navati Celebrations, they said.The Seminar, aimed at providng a platform for Ayuvedic professionals and students to interact with the experts, would also focus on the recent trends in Ayurvedic development.The function would also witness presentation of P S Varier Prize and P M Varier Gold Medal to ayuvedic students, they added.
