MUTHOOT SECURITY GUARD OPENED FIRE

(Muthoot security guard opens fire, kills two and himself)

A private security guard with a Muthoot finance outlet in south Delhi's Govindpuri area opened fire with his revolver, killing two employees of the unit and grievously injuring two others Thursday evening(1^st September,2011). He then fatally shot at himself, police said.'The incident was reported around 6.45 p.m. when a security guard of the company opened fire at four employees. He later shot himself in the head,' said a police official.The victims were employees at the same outlet.The victims included two men and two women. The men died, while the women have been admitted to the AIIMS in a critical condition, added the official.According to police, the 23 year-old guard, Visha Ram Singh, who is from Uttar Pradesh, was apparently frustrated at not getting leave from the office for a long time.
