INSURANCE SCHEME FOR NRIs
Kerala-based Federal Bank said it has launched a unique insurance scheme for its new NRI customers 'Fed Oriental Pravasi Insurance', in association with Oriental Insurance Company. The insurance mainly covers hospitalisation expenses of NRI customers by providing cashless treatment facility at more than 3000 hospitals pan India and also for unforeseen eventualities like repatriation, accidents, the bank said in a statement. All new NRI customers, who maintain a minimum balance of Rs 5,000 or more are eligible for the insurance coverage. Medical floater cover for family is available in the event of death or disability of the insured for Rs 10 lakh. FIEO joins hand with GNI to offer CITE course on int'l trade * The Federation of Indian Exports Organisation (FIEO) today said it has joined hands with Global Network Institute here to offer a course on international trade management. "On demand of exporters we have designed a short term course on international trade management that will be offered in collaboration with Global Network Institute (GNI) from this month in Ahmedabad," FIEO Coordinator, Ahmedabad Chapter, Jai Prakash Goel said.
