EDAN NAGAR ONAM CELEBRATION & 4TH ANNUAL FUNCTION
Ayppalloor Edan Nagar Arts and Sports Club celebrated this years(2011) Onam celebration and 4th Annual function was held at Ayppalloor Edan Nagar on 10th September ( Saturday- Avittam Day) Edan Nagar Arts and Sports Club is the youth wing of Edan Nagar Residence Association.
The Onam celebration began at 8 am on 10th September with Flag Hosting by General Convenor Mr. D. Daniel. Sports started at 9 am. Music Chair,Mittayi peruckal,, Biscat Kadi, Race with Leman, Chakkil Kayari Ottam, Kuppiyil Vellam Nirackal,, Sundharikku Pottuthodeel, Muttayaru, Kannuketti Kalamadi, Kanaponnu,Uriyadi, Vadamvali etc There are more than two dozen sports items included in the celebration. Arts programme started at 3 p.m.
Public meeting was at 6 pm. Prof. John Kurakar,President, Edan Nagar Residence Association presided. The function started with silent prayer. Mr Nithin Cheriyan welcomed the gatherings. Mr Baiju Malila, Producer, Asianet Vodafone Comedy Show inaugurated the celebration. Mr Mathews Koshy,
Ward Member, Mr Cheriyan P.Koshy, Mr. M.Thomas, Mr. m. Achen Kunju, Mr. P.M.G Kurakaran, Mr. D. Daniel were spoke on the occasion. M.O Alexander, co-ordinator distributed the prizes. Mr. George A Mathew expressed vote of thanks. After the public meeting Arts programme and cinematic dance by Kottavattom King Star was started at 8 p.m.
Nobin Babu, Rinju John, Nikil Rajan, Nithin Cheriyan, Jojo Baby, Roni John, Jibin K, Jiju.K, Boban Varghese, Bovas Chacko, Sibin Sabu, Subin Mathews, Anish Achenkunju, Rahul, Sijo, Jithu, Jebi George,Benny, Toney, Riju were the active members of the Edan Arts & Sports Club
