JUSTICE K.B KOSHY
HAS BEEN RECOMMENDED AS KERALA STATE HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION
Justice K B Koshy has been recommended as Kerala State Human Rights Commission chairman. It was Finance Minister K M Mani who proposed Koshy's name. A panel comprising the chief minister, opposition leader, speaker and the finance minister selected Koshy. The present chairman N Dinakar will be releived of his charge on August 16. Justice Koshy's name has been recommended to Governor R S Gavai unanimously by the selection panel, comprising Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Opposition Leader V S Achuthanandan and state Assembly Speaker G Karthikeyan, He is hailing from Aranumla in Pathanamthitta district, Justice Koshy had served as a Judge in Kerala High Court before becoming Chief Justice of Patna High Court.
