PAKISTAN- BUS ACCIDENT
(20 killed in Pak bus accident)

Around 20 people have been killed in Pakistan after a passenger bus fell into a ravine in Lasbela district of the Baluchistan province today. According to police officials, the bus plunged into the ravine due to overspeeding. The bus was carrying pilgrims who were traveling from Shah Noorani in Khuzdar to Shahdad Kot in Sindh. They had visited the shrine of hah Noorani. 'Twenty people were killed after the driver lost control on a sharp bend near Hub city,' local police officer, Ahmed Rind said. He said eight people had died on the spot, while 12 others succumbed to injuries while being taken to a nearby hospital. The dead include women and children. Several passengers who survived the accident are being treated in local hospitals.
