Tribute paid to Former football player Raveendranath

    Former football player Arayamthoppil Raveendranath, 73, passed away here on Tuesday,19^th July,2011. He had played in Santhosh trophy. He wore jersey for Kozhikode Young challengers, Bangalore Binny Mills and Orissa Kaling Tube. He was the first goal scorer at the Kozhikode Corporation Stadium and his historical goal was for Young challengers. His wife is Bhamini and Abhilash and Anupama are children.
