Somalia as millions starve Thousands of people died in refugee camps in the capital .Somalis offer funeral prayers for malnourished children who died at a refugee camps in capital Mogadishu. Once an important centre for commerce, Somalia’s misfortunes began in 1991 when the regime of Maj. Gen. Mohamed Siad Barre collapsed with the outbreak of the civil war.
