       Weds late poet Vallathol’s grandson Sreevalsan Menon

      Popular Malayalam actress Swetha Menon Saturday,18^th June,2011, tied the knot with Sreevalsan Menon, grandson of late Vallathol Narayana Menon one of the triumvirate poets of Kerala. The marriage ceremony was held at the ancestral house of Swetha's father at Valanchery in Malappuram. Sreevalsan Menon, a former journalist with The Week is the vice-president of Edelweiss Capital India Ltd.

       Swetha, whose first film was 'Anaswaram' with mega star Mammotty, has acted in over 25 Malayalam films. Her 'Rathi Nirvedham', a remake of a Malayalam movie in the 1970s, was released in Kerala a couple of days ago. Swetha, a model earlier, had bagged the Kerala State Award for best actress for her role in Malayalam superhit film 'Paleri Manickam', directed by Renjith.
