READING DAY-2011

(Reading Day to be observed Sunday (19^th June, 2011)

      The Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy and Kurakar Cultural Forum are observed Reading Day on Sunday,19^th June,2011 with various programmes..The associations conducted quiz programmes and Reading competitions for   High Schools students. The programme was very helpful  to spread knowledge, experience and awareness through reading among the children.

 The programme was started at 2 P.M at Kottarakara,  Kurakar town center.  The students took pledge of P.N Panicker to grow through reading and earn wisdom through thinking. The students spoke abou the experience gained through reading books. Prof. John Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy, inaugurated the reading day programmes. Mr Bobby Kurakar, Dr Jose Mani, Dr Balakrishnan, Mr. Sadasivan, Mr. Sam Kurakar, Mr Manu Kurakar, Prof. Varghese John, Dr Jacob Mathai were spoke on the occasion.
