VAIKOM MOHAMMED BASHEER'S CHARACTORS TO COME ALIVE IN ANIMATION

                     Vaikom Mohammed Ba sheer's Charactors
                         to come alive in animation

   The Legendary Malayalam author Vaikom Mohammed Basheer's Classic work" Bhoomiude Avakashikal" ( Inheritors of the Earth ) is all set to be made in to an Animation series.
  A group of youngsters based in Kozhikodu are working in the series based on the story that celebrates life." The content of this work is most relevant in the present world when reports on threats to nature come out every day. What Basheer tells us through the work is that each living being has a right to exixt. Biju Bavod, script writer and director of the animation film, said. Mr Bavod and three other have completed the work on the 45 minute film that will be telecast soon on a Malayalam channel in 15 short episodes. The film is produced by Between Animations and Excel EC, Kozhikodu.
   Besides Basheer, the main charactor, his wife,cousin Shan, and a number of birds and animals appear in a movie." The conversational style of Basheer was used for dubbing after consulting with his son Anees Basheer. The series will be followed by another movie  based on Baheer's famous work"Vishwa Vikhyathamaya Mooku(World-renowned nose) that has more humour and is satirical.
