   In Telugu Desom with many households making the spicy'Avakaya' during summer,mango cutters are in demand. It is time for Telugu households to prepare the spicy Avakaya'( Mango pickle with the raw mango available to keep the palate on fire throughout the year.
    With the onset of the summer,Karimnagar id flooded with raw mangoes for making' avakaya' of various varieties. The small  dingy lane at the new Annapurna complex at the busy shopping center in the heart of the town turns in to a hub of activity with the mango cutters doing a roaring business.
      The mango cutters,who are otherwise involved in selling vegetables and doing petty  trade,take up the task of cutting new mangoes according to the requirement of the customers.
   The mango cutters,who are otherwise  involved in selling vegetables  and doing petty trade,take up the task of cutting raw mangoes  according to the requirement of the customers. The mangoes are cut in to pieces of different sizes according to the recipes that are prepared to store the pickle throughout the year.
  The customers, after purchasing the raw mangoes, hand over the same to the cutters who wash and clean them with a cloth and cut in to pieces. Some of the customers do the cutting on their own.
  But, a majority of them prefer to avail of the services  of the mango cutters for getting a good shape for making the delicious and spicy pickle.
  The mango cutters are charging Rs 3 per piece of mango and they say that the price of cutting mangoes would further go up with pickle season peaking by this month end.
