Irfan bags Med Entrance First Rank

The Kerala Engineering and Medical Entrance-2011 (KEAM-2011) results have been announced on 24th May,2011.. The results were announced by the State Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb at a press conference in the P R Chamber of the State Secretariat at 5.30 pm today. The first rank in the medical entrance was bagged by Irfan V of Malappuram and the second rank went to Shammy N. The third rank was bagged by Ashitha P. A total of 65, 632 students qualified in the medical entrance.
The engineering score too was released by the Minister today. The engineering ranklist will be prepared only later by incorporating the Plus Two marks of the candidates. The engineering ranklist will be ready only by June 25.The Commissioner of Entrance Examination B S Mavoji had promised to release the Entrance results by May 25 and he kept his promise today. In fact the Entrance Commissionerate was ready with the results on May 20 itself but since there was no Minister in charge of Education then, they waited for the arrival of the new Minister Abdu Rabb.
