CIVIL SERVICE RESULTS-TOP TWO CANDIDATES ARE WOMEN

History has been made in this years(2011),civil service results. In rare first,the top two candates are women.Topper S. Divyadharshini is an alumnus of Dr Ambedkar Law University in chennai, Sweta Mohanty,who did her B  Tech in Computer Science from Gokaraju Rengaraja Institute of Engeinnering and Technology(GRIET),Hydrabad has come second. The merit list boasts of five women candidates in the top.  R.V Varun Kumar, a student of chennai's Ragas Dental College has topped among the male candidates , over all,he came third.

  Of the 547,693 candidates who appeared for the preliminary examination in May,2010. Of the top 25,15 had an engineering back ground,followed by medicine(Five) There are 151 vacancies for IAS,IFS(35) and IPS150)
