VEEGA LAND AMUSEMENT PARK
The Kochi-based Veegaland Amusement park has attracted over 90 lakh visitors during the past one decade. It's chairman is Mr Kochouseph Chittilappilly. Three more rides were introduced at Veegaland recently to capitalise on the summer rush when children and adults visit the amusement park to enjoy their holidays. The rides were inaugurated by film actor Lalu Alex.
A high light of the new additions is the 'Rain Disco, which is an indoor dance floor in which water jets and lights are synchonized with music. A laser show is also incorporated. It can accommodate 350 people at a time. For children who love and venturous rides, there is a welcome addition with a seating capacity of 18. It rotates 360 degrees in both clockwise and anti-clock wise directions with a speed of 16rpm. There is a new wave pool measuring around 700 sq mt to provide wholesome entertainment to the family.
