WOMEN SCIENTISTS CELL

      The Women scientists cell at the Kerala state council for science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) is organizing a programme on " Women Achievers in Science" on March 8 in connection with the International  woman's Day.
   The programme is designed to serve as a plat form  for aspiring young girls to interact with women achievers in science and to help them develop a passion for science.  The first recipient of the young woman scientist award instituted by the Environment Committee (STEC) B.Meena kumari( Deputy Director General, Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi) and the first woman director of R& D under KSCSTE, B.G Sreedevi( Director, National Transportation Planning and Research center(NATPRC) will be felicitated on the occasion.
    Women scientists,who received young scientists award in the Kerala Science Congress conducted by STEC/KSCSTE will be invited to present their research work. The council has invited girl student and young women researchers participate in the programme.
