Sindhu Joy In Congress
Sindhu Joy's entry has livened up Congress poll campaign. Former students Federation of India- state president Sindhu Joy has expelled from CPI (Marxist) Party Ms Sindhu Joy told that she was expelled after she had met the party district secretary and handed over her letter of resignation from the party. Sindhu Joy was one of the CPI(M)'s star campaigner in the last Assembly elections.Ms Sindhu Joy had contested against Mr Oomman Chandi in the last Assembly elections.
In her address,Ms Joy mounted a scathing attack on the party leadership which, according to her, had ditched the youth who had repsed faith in the party and on the chief Minister V.S Achuthanandan, who dubbed her 'just' another woman"Oruthi) when commenting on her exit from the party.
Mr Oommen Chandi, welcoming her to the congress party, said for him, she was not just another woman, but the symbol of the disillusionment of the youth with the CPI(M) KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala handed over the primary membership of the Congress party to Ms Sindhu Joy
