The long wait of Mr K. Muraleedharan,former KPCC president and son of the former chief Minister K. Karunakaran,ended on Tuesday 15th February,2011 with Congress president Sonia Gandhi approving his re admission after revoking his six-year suspension from the congress party since march 2005 with out any condition. Ms Kidwai and Mr Remsh Chennithala,who announced Muraleedharans re-entry. He would find a place in the party's state executive. All the respect due to a former KPCC president would be given to him. Though Mr Karunakaran who had rejoined the congress in December 2007 after floating the Democratic Indira Congress with Mr Muraleedharan. Mr Karunakaran passed away on December 23,2010, with out seeing his son back in the congress
