          St.Thomas Ecumenical church at Nilackal stands as a symbol of unity among Christian churches and also that of religious tolerance and communal harmony. St. Thomas ecumenical Trust showed the world how to foster unity among different churches, giving due respect to the sentiments of other religious faiths.
  
           The message given by the church was that of love,fraternity and peace. Mr Oscar Fernadez was inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations of the Church at Angamoozy on Sunday 30th January,2011. Archbishop Mar Joseph Powathil presided over the function. He said" the church was a symbol of unity among various churches in the state.
