INDIA- AN ECONOMIC POWER HOUSE

      International monetary Fund, Managing Director Dominique Strauss kahan on Thursday 2nd December,2010 described India as a leading power and an economic power house.  India is becoming one of the leading powers in the world. It is really an economic power house.
         In its projection on India, the IMF had estimated an economic growth of 9.7 percent during 2010. The overall growth for the first half of 2010-11 has been 8.9 percent.
            India, along with china, will become global leaders in manufacturing competitiveness by 2015, according to the recently published 2010 Global manufacturing competitiveness index. The rise of china,India and the Republic of Korea appears to parallel the rapidly growing and important Asian Market.
