Thousands of pilgrims reached Parumala on Tuesday in processions from different parts of the state and out side Kerala dioceses of Malankara Orthodox Syrian church to offer prayers at the Saint’s tomb.
Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan Baselius MarThoma Paulose II was the chief celebrant of the Eucharist celebrated in the morning. The Catholicos inaugurated the annual meeting of the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Students movement on the church premises in the afternoon.
