M.S. Sreenivasan, Managing Director of the Kerala Kaumudi Group publications died on Monday 4th September,2010.
The body was brought from his house at Kumarapuram to the Kerala Kaumudi office complex for the public to pay homage. A large number of people paid their last respects.
The cremation took place near smrithi mandapam of his father K. Sukumaran,the founder editor of Kerala Kaumudi and his mother Madhavi Sukumaran. A large gatherring including family members, staff of the Kerala Kaumudi Groups, leaders of various political parties from different walks of life turned up for the cremation.
Kerala Kavya kala Sahithy arranged a condolence meeting on 6th September at Kurakar Center,Kottarakara at 5p.m. Prof.John Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy presided over the condolence meeting.
