ARMEDMEN ATTACK IN DELHI
Two armed men on a motor cycle opened indiscriminate fire outside the historic Jama Masjid in the walled city of Delhi on Sunday 19th September,2010, injuring two Taiwanese nationals who were about a board a tourist bus.
The attack too place outside Gate No-3 of the mosque, just a few metres away from the local police station, whentwo men on the motor cycle opend fire around 11.30 am.
The attack in New Delhi was a deliberate attempt to create panic and thwart the holding of the Commonwealth Games. The incident reflects poorly on our security institutions and creates apprehension in the minds of foreign sports persons.The extremism and terrorist activities must be tackled with iron hand and the government shouldd not compromise on the security of foreign participants in the Games.
4000 athlets and tens of thousands of fans who will participate in next months Common wealth Games. Their safety is very important. Sundays terrorist attack in Delhi which left two tourists injured. The police believe the attack was most likely carried out by one of the Lashkar-e Taiba-linked cells that are collectively referred to us the Indian mujahideen.
