The first death anniversry of actor Murali was observed at his native place Kudavattur,Kottarakara on Thursday 5th August,2010. The function in this connection was organised by the Bharat Murqali Cultural Centre.
The first Bharat Murali Award of the Centre was presented to actor KPAC Lalitha. The award carries a cash prize of Rs10,001,a trophy and a citation.
