BIHAR LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

In Bihar, the opposition party legislators indulged in unruly behaviour for the second consecutive day in the Assembly on Wednesday 21st July, 2010.

The opposition was demanding the resignation of chief minister Nitish kumar and Deputy Minister Sushil Kumar modi over alleged irregularities amounting to Rs 11,412 corer in developmental schemes. The opposition legislators attacked the speaker of the Assembly and the chairman of the Legislative council. In all, 67 legislators were suspended and marshalled out for disrupting house proceedings and indulging unparliamentary behaviour.
