NATION WIDE BANDH

The nation wide bandh called by the opposigtion against the centre’s hike in fuel prices threw normal life out of gear in many parts of the country on Monday 5th July,2010.
The 12- hour hartal by the BJP and their secular allies schools and colleges in many states remained shut and banking services were affected . The Hartal in Kerala sponsored by LDF and BJP was total and Peace ful.
Public and Private transport vehicles inKerala were off.Government offices and educational institution were unable to function and there was no activity in the industrrial unit. Flight and train services were not hit.
The UDF staged a walk out from the Assembly on Monday accusing the LDF of having made the people of kerala’ captives with its second hartal in 10 days.
