More than two hundred people participated the inauguration of the Kurakar Tourist Home on 7th March,2010 at Kurakar Centre. Dr N.N Murali,District Medical Officer inaugurated the tourist home.Prof John Kurakar,President Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy presided over the function.
Mr Jacob Kurakar,managing director of the tourist home welcomed the participants. Rev.O Thomas,RevFrY.SGeevarghese,Rev Fr Prof.D. Jacob, Mr BabuPonnachan,manager,State Bank of Travancore,kottarakara,Mr Jacob Mathew Kurakar,manager, state bank of Travancore, oyur,Mr K.C Mathew, manager,Federal Bank,Mr Neelaswaram Sadasivan,vice president,Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy, MrM. Kunjachan Paruthiyara,vice president Gandheeya Nav Sakthi Sanghom,mr Sathyasheelan,Mr K.C George Kutty were spoke on the occasion. Nidhi Jacob Kurakar actively participated in the cultural programme.
