A WONDERFUL AND JOYOUS GET-TOGETHER OF THE ALUMNI OF THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM
It was a wonderful and joyous get-together fpr the class of 1959 batch. 51 Alumni of the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram. All of them in their seventies, assembled for a reunion after 50 years. 108 students who passed out of the college in 1959, the Alumni Association could identify and contact 73.Some of the participants in the two-day Golden Jubilee re-union came from New-Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore,Chennai and the U.S. The first Batch old students were presented with shawls and mementos by the Principal and faculty members.
To mark the Golden Jubilee, the Alumni Association donated a name board structure for the college at the main entrance. They also contributed to the Growing Engineers Monetary Support Fund.
