KOROTTY INFOPARK
The first satellite Centre of Info park Kochi is scheduled to start operations by November 2009 at Koratty in Thrissur. The Campus will be the first facility to come up under the hub-and spoke model of information technology (IT) infrastructure development in kerala. The park situated on 17 hectares of Land, will have world-class facilities. It is expected to generate 6,000 IT jobs when it becomes fully operational.
The first phase of the project involves the development of 12 hectares of prime land. The allotment of 70,000 sq.ft of built-up area with play and play incubation facilities is nearly complete. The campus will have a common water treatment plant and commercial complex.
Koratty Info Park is 45 Km from Cochin International Air port at Nedumbassery.Koratty Info park is aimed at tapping the talent pool and entrepreneurial skills in and around Thrissur.
The first two phases will be developed under the smart Business centre concept. IT building in the Campus incorporating the Green Building concept. Developed plots of varying sizes will be offered for co- development in the second phase of the Koratty Info park project.
