VAIKO SPEECH ISSUE

VAIKO SPEECH ISSUE
MDMK General Secretary Mr Vaiko stating that Tamil Nadu would witness a blood bath if something happened to LTTE Chief Velupillai Prabakaran. That is a law and order issue, and the state government will take action. Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) general secretary Mr Vaika on Thursday 9th April , 2009 said that his speech as a warning in a good faith and with good intentions for protecting the unity and integrity of India. Mr Vaiko told the journalists that his speech was aimed at urging the union government for bringing the war in sri- Lanka to an end. If the Sri Lankan Government used weapons to kill the Tamils. Mr Vaiko again added “ no body need to teach patriotism to us. We are second to none in patriotism.
The Chennai police’s decision to register a case of sedetion against MDMK leader Vaiko for his inflammatory speech is in the right direction. Although every body is sympathetic to the plight of the sriLankan Tamils. But it is difficult to simpathise with the LTTE chief, who masterminded Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination. I think Mr Vaiko raised his voice for the innocent Sri Lankan Tamils. Every body should understood his sentiments.
