At 73.33 percent, what kerala witnessed on Thursday (16 th April 2009) was the fifth highest voter turnout in the states electrol history

Higher voter turnout than at present. Among the Lok sabha constituencies, the highest polling percentage was recorded this time in Kannur where 80.91 percent of the voters exercised their franchise.
