The Brutal violence witnessed in the Dr Ambedkar Governmment Law College in Chennai on 12 th Wednesday 2008. In which a group students almost killed a Collegemate has completly shaken me. I see the image on Television. The Police men remaining mute spectators to brutal assualts. Several students seriously injured. The inaction of the police men is condemnable.
I am realy shoked that the Educated students beings turn so violent and the police, the protectors of law could just stand by and watch with no one of them realising that his duty was to protect the Brutal incident. No body to help a fellow human. The media persons utlised this time for filimed the incident.
I appeal to all thinking people, politicians, teachers and parents to help weed out the dangeros trend of growing casteism among students. It is not a local incident but for the larger issues of caste conflicts making the way in an Educational institution. Prof: John Kurakar
