Barack Obama is the 44th president of the United states of America. His victory is a historic event and is sure to have an impact on not only America but also the whole world. His victory has proved that racism has been buried deep and a political leader must be above race, religion, caste and creed. Mr Obama was born on August 4, 1961. Martin Luther King delivered his famous speech on August 28, 1963 in which he said"I have a dream that one day little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and little white girls as sisters and brothers" The dream came true on 5th wednesday 2008.
Millions of young American voters have been fired by the youthful senator they have chosen to send to the White House. Barack Obama won the majority of the votes of those who said race was an important issue who said race was an important issue who in the election. The impact of Mr Obama's win on the sentiments and aspirations of millions of American from the minorities, particularly African Americans, is enormous and imposible to measure.
