Kollam Kaipadackal Koshy Varghese died on 28th January,2011. He was 65 age. He is survived his wife Annie (Kochumol) and two son Dr Pratheep Koshy (Govt Hospital) and Abhilash Koshy (Technopark). The funeral held at Marthoma Church Polayathode Semitry on Saturday,29th January,2011 at 3p.m.
Hundreds people from different walks of life paid him last respects.

Among those who arrived to pay their last respects included Priests of Marthoma and orthodox churches, Political leaders, Doctors, Engineers, Businessmen Relatives, and Parish members.
