CBSE NEET-2017 EXAMINATION OVER
11 ലക്ഷം വിദ്യാർഥികൾ നീറ്റ്‌ പരീക്ഷയെഴുതി
Centre Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised the
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) today,07-05-2017,
in 104 cities across the country. Against 8,02,594 registered candidates last
year in NEET-2016, with the increase of 41.42% in the number of candidates,
11,35,104 medical aspirants have registered for NEET-2017. To accommodate 11
lakh candidates in 104 cities, more than 2200 institutions were made the
centres based on the credibility, reliability and infrastructure etc in these centres.
A total of 11,38,890 students appeared for the exam including 1,522 NRIs and
613 foreigners."490 CBSE officials were deployed in 103 cities to
personally supervise the exam. Besides city coordinators of CBSE schools, 3,500
observers were also appointed," the official told The NEET 2017 was
conducted for 65,000 MBBS and 25,000 BDS seats.
Meanwhile some Muslim female students who appeared from a private school in Thiruvananthapuram complained about the school authorities asking them to remove the head scarves during the exam. A Malayalam news channel reported that,this school did not allow the students to wear 'Hijab' while other schools allowed them to do.The Kerala High Court had granted permission to Muslim girls to wear hijab, for the NEET 2016 last year on the condition that they would come to the examination hall 30 minutes early.

11 ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം വിദ്യാർഥികൾ എംബിബിഎസ്‌, ബിഡിഎസ്‌ നാഷണൽ എലിജിബിലിറ്റി കം എൻട്രൻസ്‌ ടെസ്റ്റ്‌ (നീറ്റ്‌) എഴുതി. രാജ്യത്തെ 1900 ത്തോളം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലായാണ്‌ പരീക്ഷ നടന്നത്‌.103 നഗരങ്ങളിലായി 490 ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരാണ്‌ പരീക്ഷയ്ക്ക്‌
നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്‌. 1,522 എൻആർഐകളും 613 വിദേശികളും ഉൾപ്പെടെ 11,38,890 പേരാണ്‌ പരീക്ഷയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തതെന്ന്‌ സിബിഎസ്‌ഇ അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു. 103 സിബിഎസ്‌ഇ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ പരീക്ഷയിൽ നേരിട്ട്‌ പരിശോധന നടത്തി. സിബിഎസ്‌ഇ സ്കൂളുകളുടെ സിറ്റി കോർഡിനേറ്റർമാർക്കു പുറമേ 3,500 നിരീക്ഷകരെയും നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നു.
മെഡിക്കൽ കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ്‌ ഇന്ത്യയിലും ഡൻറൽ കൗൺസിൽ ഓഫ്‌ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അംഗീകൃത കോളജുകളിലും എംബിബിഎസ്‌, ബിഡിഎസ്‌ കോഴ്സുകളിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനത്തിനായി പരീക്ഷാ ഫലം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചശേഷം ആരോഗ്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്‌ കൈമാറും. 65000 എംബിബിഎസ്‌ സീറ്റുകളും 25000 ബിഡിഎസ്‌ സീറ്റുകളുമാണ്‌ ആകെയുള്ളത്‌. മുൻ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ 15 ശതമാനം സീറ്റുകളിലേക്ക്‌ മാത്രമാണ്‌ നീറ്റ്‌ പരീക്ഷയിലൂടെ പ്രവേശനം നൽകിയിരുന്നത്‌. ബാക്കിയുള്ള സീറ്റുകളിലേക്ക്‌ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളാണ്‌ പ്രവേശന പരീക്ഷ നടത്തിയിരുന്നത്‌.
