GLOBAL COUNCIL TRUSTEE ATTENDED URI-GLOBAL COUNCIL AND GLOBAL STAFF MEETING-2017
AT BOSNIA AND SARAJEVO HELD ON 9th SEPTEMBER TO15th SEPTEMEBR 2017
The
URI- Global Trustees and staff of United Religions Initiative-2017 was held at
Bosnia and Haravevo on 9th September to 15th September.. URI is not a religious
organisation but a network of grass roots organisations across more than 102
countries dedicated to building bridges and cultures of peace..The young people
are taking over the organization to a beautiful second phase as was evident in
the leadership given by the “Youth for Peace " CC in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. The
Global
council Face to Face Leadership meeting was very successful and
beautiful.TheGSO staff who knew their job and role very well. We thankful to
the Founder president Bishop William Swing, Executive Director Victor,Sally
Mahe,Isabella .We heard the Stories from
our young leader Fathima and her companions.We again expressed thanks
toStefan and Karen Hernandez for their dedicated efforts.The smile of Guru
Krish Shiv will never fade from our eyes. He reaffirmed the fact that "the
child is the father of man". And his mother Kiran Bali has evolved into a
better chairperson, who can triumphantly lead the Global Council to a better
tomorrow. In the Global council meeting Pakistan URI coordinator Fr. James
Channan received African Interfaith Peace award. We also conducted a wonderful
celebration at a public function on 14th September at 8 P.M at Europe Hotel.
Bosnian ambassadors, Ministry officials, Church leaders were attended. In India
Dr. Abhraham Karickam Biswadeb Chakraborty.Prof. John Kurakar, Subhi Dhuparand
swamini Adithya were participated
