INDIA-AMERICA JOINT STATEMENT FOR FIGHTING TERRORISM TOPMOST PRIORITY

Prime Minister Narendra Modi
and United States President Donald Trump on Monday, June 26,2017, struck a
common note on terrorism, vowing to strengthen efforts to fight the menace in
their joint statement at the White House.The fight against terrorism is our main
priority, Modi said after talks with the US president."We talked about
terrorism, extremism and radicalisation and agreed to cooperate on this. The
fight against terrorism and their safe havens is an important part of our
cooperation," Modi said, speaking at the Rose Garden.Both nations, Trump
said, are "determined" to destroy terrorist organisations and the
radical ideology that drives them.
അതിര്‍ത്തി കടന്നുള്ള ആക്രമണങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഭീകരര്‍ ആക്രമണം നടത്തുന്നില്ലെന്ന് ഉറപ്പുവരുത്താന്‍ ഇന്ത്യയും അമേരിക്കയും പാകിസ്താന്‍ ഭരണകൂടത്തോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ആഗോള ഭീകരതക്കെതിരെ യോജിച്ചുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിന് ഇന്ത്യയും യു.എസും പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധണാണെന്ന് കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചക്കു ശേഷം ഇരുവരും വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു.
