KERALA-MALAPPURAM TOURISTS INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT NEAR MANDI-KULU IN
HIMACHAL PRADESH
മലപ്പുറം സ്വദേശികള്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ച ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് ബസ് ഹിമാചലില്‍ കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് മറിഞ്ഞു; ആറു പേര്‍ ഗുരുതരാവസ്ഥയില്‍
Seventeen tourists,
including five children and women were injured when the vehicle they were
travelling in met with an accident on the Mandi-Kullu National Highway on
Saturday morning and fell into the Beas river.“All the injured were natives of
Budana village in Malappuram district in Kerela,’’ said Hitesh Lakhan Pal,
deputy superintendent of police of Mandi.The vehicle was on its way to Manali
from Delhi, he added.
The injured are
undergoing treatment at regional hospital in Mandi. The condition of eight
persons is said to be critical.“The exact cause of the accident is yet to be
ascertained. But as per preliminary investigation it is suspected that the
driver was drowsy, due to which he lost control over the vehicle. The
investigation is going on, ’’ the official said.The police teams and ambulance
services reached the accident spot within few minutes as they got the message
at 6.14 am. The rescue operation lasted for about two hours.

നിന്നും വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരത്തിനെത്തിയവരാണ്
അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പട്ടത്. കുളുവിലേക്കുള്ള
യാത്രയില്‍ ഇവര്‍ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന
ടംബോ ട്രാവലര്‍ നിയന്ത്രണം
വിട്ട് കൊക്കയിലേക്ക് തലകീഴായി
മറിയുകയായിരുന്നു.
