ഭീകരവാദം വേണോ?, വിനോദസഞ്ചാരം വേണോ?: കശ്മീരീ യുവാക്കളോട് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി.
Observing
that 40 years of violence had done no good but only brought bloodshed to Jammu
and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the youth of the
Valley had to choose between tourism and terrorism to shape their future.Inaugurating
the Chenani-Nashri tunnel here, Modi said the country’s longest tunnel will
change the fortunes of the state and its economy and asserted the Centre’s
commitment in boosting tourism in the state.
“I
want to tell the youth of the valley, you have two paths which can decide your
fate -- On one hand you have tourism and then there is terrorism. For the past
40 years so many innocent lives have been lost. This has done no good to
anybody but has only left the valley bloodied. This bloodshed has not done good
to anybody but has only snatched sons from their mothers,” he said“Had these 40
years been used for developing tourism things would have been different,” the
PM added.
ഭീകരവാദം വേണോ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരം വേണോ എന്ന കാര്യത്തിൽ കശ്മീരി യുവാക്കൾ ഇപ്പോൾ തീരുമാനം എടുക്കണമെന്ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി. കശ്മീരിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗത്ത് ഭീകരവാദവും മറുഭാഗത്ത് വിനോദസഞ്ചാരവുമാണ് ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളത്. ഇതിൽ ഏതുവേണമെന്ന് കശ്മീരി യുവാക്കൾ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കണം. ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും നീളമേറിയ തുരങ്കപാത ജമ്മു–ശ്രീനഗർ ദേശീയപാതയിൽ ഗതാഗതത്തിനു തുറന്നുകൊടുത്ത ശേഷം സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി.
കഴിഞ്ഞ 40 വർഷമായി തുടരുന്ന അശാന്തിയിൽ കശ്മീർ താഴ്‌വരയിൽ ജീവൻ നഷ്ടമായത് ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് നിരപരാധികൾക്കാണ്. നിരവധി അമ്മമാർക്ക് മക്കളെ നഷ്ടമായി. കാലാകാലങ്ങളായി തുടരുന്ന തുടരുന്ന ഈ രക്തച്ചൊരിച്ചിൽ ആർക്കും ഒരു നേട്ടവും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയില്ല. കഴിഞ്ഞ 40 വർഷം വിനോദസഞ്ചാരത്തെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ കശ്മീരിന്റെ കാൽച്ചുവട്ടിൽ ലോകം എത്തുമായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാ ഇന്ത്യക്കാരന്റെയും ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ആഗ്രഹമാണ്, ഒരിക്കലെങ്കിലും വിനോദസഞ്ചാരിയായി കശ്മീരിൽ എത്തുകയെന്നത്. കശ്മീരിലേക്ക് വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികൾ എത്തിത്തുടങ്ങിയാൽ അത് സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ സമ്പത്തിക വളർച്ചയ്ക്ക് ആക്കം കൂട്ടും. വിനോദസഞ്ചാരം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചാൽ രാജ്യം മുഴുവൻ കശ്മീരിനൊപ്പം നിൽക്കും– പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.... ജമ്മു–കശ്മീരിലെ പർവതപ്രദേശത്തു റെക്കോർഡ് വേഗത്തിൽ നാലുവർഷം കൊണ്ടു പണിത 10.89 കിലോമീറ്റർ ഉധംപുർ–റംബാൻ തുരങ്കപാത പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദിയാണ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്
