Five nurses fired for dancing next to naked patient on surgery table

prepared for surgery when the operation team decided to laugh and joke around
him, with one nurse spraying his body with disinfectant while gyrating
alongside the hospital bed.The abhorrent scene was caught on camera but the
hospital staff – mainly women – had no idea the offensive video would be leaked
online where it caused widespread outrage among viewers. Thousands of people
shared the clip from the Santa Cruz de Bocagrande clinic in Bolivar, Colombia,
on social media with many calling for those involved to be named and shamed.
Authorities confirmed the
five people featured in the clip have been sacked, saying the video breaks “all
health protocols”.In a statement, clinic bosses said: “The respect for dignity
of every patient is the most important thing in our clinic, therefore we
strongly regret the inappropriate behaviour of those who are working as
professionals in the health sector, seen in the video recorded in one of our
surgery rooms.” The five
people in the video lost their jobs for the offensive clipIt is believed a
member of the operating team filmed the footage on a mobile phone and it later
ended up on Facebook.The clinic apologised and added the video went “against
the dignity of the patient and are breaking the protocols and the political
values of our institution focused on the quality and humanisation of our
service”.A spokesman said: “This is the first time in seven years of good
service that we are living a situation like this and we have taken some
measures in order not to repeat these horrific acts.”

തങ്ങളുടെ ക്ലിനിക്ക് കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏഴ് വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി നല്ല നിലയില്‍ സല്‍പ്പേരോട് കൂടിയാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു പെരുമാറ്റം ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്നും ആദ്യമായാണ് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ക്ലിനിക്ക് തലവന്മാര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ ആവര്‍ത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കാനുള്ള ചില നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിച്ച് വരുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും അവര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാ ഹെല്‍ത്ത് പ്രോട്ടോക്കോളുകളും ലംഘിക്കുന്ന വീഡിയോ ആണിതെന്നും അധികൃതര്‍ പറയുന്നു. തങ്ങളുടെ ക്ലിനിക്കിലെത്തുന്ന ഓരോ രോഗിക്കും ബഹുമാനം നല്‍കുകയെന്നത് തങ്ങളുടെ ക്ലിനിക്കിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട കാര്യമാണെന്നും അതിനാല്‍ ജീവനക്കാര്‍ നടത്തിയ അനുചിതമായ പ്രവൃത്തിയില്‍ ഖേദിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും ക്ലിനിക്ക് അധികൃതര്‍ പ്രസ്താവനയിലൂടെ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു
