പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കണം: ജോണ്‍ കെറി

US Secretary of State John Kerry painted what has surely emerged in the past few years as the new face of American foreign policy. Sitting at a news conference in New Delhi with India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj next to him, Kerry categorically called on Pakistan to take concrete steps to fight terrorism arising from within its border. This was a marked change from decades of America's dogmatic refusal to take sides in the India - Pakistan relationship.

Kerry reaffirmed US commitment to bring to justice the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and Pathankot. Even as he avoided naming Pakistan in this context, the language of his message made it clear whom his comments were aimed at. "We cannot and will not make distinctions between good and bad terrorists," Kerry said. "Terror is terror no matter where it comes from, (or) who carries it out."The US Secretary of State also unequivocally expressed hope for the trilateral dialogue that is set to begin between India, Afghanistan and the US. This too was a marked departure of the US policy of attempting to exercise influence in Kabul

ഭീകരത തുടച്ചു നീക്കുന്നതിന് പാകിസ്ഥാന്‍ ഇനിയും ഏറെ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതുണ്ടെന്ന് അമേരിക്കന്‍ വിദേശകാര്യ സെക്രട്ടറി ജോണ്‍ കെറി. ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുന്ന ക്യാമ്പുകള്‍ അടച്ചുപൂട്ടുന്നതിന്് നടപടിയെടുക്കണമെന്ന് അമേരിക്ക പാകിസ്താനോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ജോണ്‍ കെറി ദല്‍ഹി ഐ.ഐ.ടിയിലെ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളുമായി സംവാദിക്കവെ പറഞ്ഞു.പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലെ ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കാരണം അവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങള്‍ പൊറുതി മുട്ടുകയാണ്. 50000 പാക്കിസ്ഥാനികളാണ് തീവ്രവാദത്തിന്റെ ഫലമായി കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്. ഭാരത–പാക്ക് ബന്ധം വഷളാവാത്ത രീതിയില്‍ പരിഹാരം കാണാന്‍ പാകിസ്താന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

ഭീകരതയും ലഷ്‌കറെ തയ്ബ, ഹഖാനി നെറ്റ്വര്‍ക്കുകള്‍ തകര്‍ക്കേണ്ടത് പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്റെ ചുമതലയാണ്. അല്‍ക്വദ, ജെയ്‌ഷെ മുഹമ്മദ്, ലഷ്‌കറെ ത്വയ്ബ ഭീകരര്‍ക്കെതിരെ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തിന് മാത്രമായി പോരാടാനാവില്ല. ലോകരാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുമിച്ച് നിന്നാലെ ഭീകരതയെ അമര്‍ച്ച ചെയ്യാനാവൂ. ഈ വിഷയത്തില്‍ കഠിന ശ്രമങ്ങളാണ് അമേരിക്ക നടത്തുന്നത്- കെറി പറഞ്ഞു.ഭീകരത ഇല്ലാതാക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ പാകിസ്ഥാന്‍ കുറച്ച്കൂടി ആത്മാര്‍ത്ഥത കാണിക്കണം. അമേരിക്കയും മറ്റു രാജ്യങ്ങളുമായി ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഭീകരത ഇല്ലാതാക്കാനാണ് പാകിസ്ഥാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കേണ്ടത്. ഭീകര പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ബാധിക്കുന്നത് ഇന്ത്യയെ മാത്രമല്ല, അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനേയും കൂടിയാണെന്നും കെറി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
